Toots passed to the Rainbow Bridge on April 25, 2007.  She had had a really bad cough for a few months.  She had medicine that helped with the cough but she still had some of a cough.  She didn't eat her dinner on the 24th.  Then, the morning of the 25th she gave me "the look".  I wasn't sure if it was "the look" or not so I tried giving her some of her all time favorite treats.  She sniffed and then walked away.  It was time.  She had turned 14 on the 10th of April so she did have a long life.  I just hope that the time she was with me was happy for her.  She may have been tiny but she sure has left a huge hole in my heart.
