With a sad and heavy heart I have to tell you that Toots has gone on to the Rainbow Bridge.  She turned 14 on April 10 and then on April 25 I had to help her on to the Bridge.  At the time that I am typing this I do not have her memorial page done but when it is done you can get to it by clicking here.  I am still amazed at how one who is so very small can leave such a huge hole in your heart.

 

Hello there!  My name is Tootsie!  I am a 13 year old Yorkshire Terrier.  At least I am 13 right now.  I was born in April of 1993.  My "story" is sort of long.  I lived in another town in Missouri from the time I was a puppy until just earlier this year (2006).  I was a loved pet of a lady and her husband.  Then, my Mom got sick....VERY sick.  She ended up in the hospital and they didn't think she would make it out.  So, they started looking for something to do with me.  I almost ended up in a "high kill" shelter.  Thankfully that didn't happen.  Instead I ended up with 7 Bells Sanctuary (the banner below is linked to their site with PetFinder.com).  From there I ended up here as a foster kid.  I came here on June 8, 2006.  Just last month Mom decided that she just was not going to be able to let me go if someone did come along that wanted to adopt me.  So, Mom has now failed Fostering 101!!!  Mom and Dad officially adopted me on September 14, 2006.  I am a happy girl!  I am loved and I am well taken care of.  What more could a girl ask for!?!?!
