Sally passed to the
Rainbow Bridge on March 3, 2007. She would have been 14 weeks old
on March 4, 2007. What a beautiful little girl she was.
Sally had PDA and that is what took her life. PDA is a heart
defect. Sally woke me up around 2 a.m. on that morning. Poor
baby could hardly breathe. I pretty much knew then what I was
going to have to do that day. I called our vet as soon as his
office opened that morning. I brought Sally in at 9:15 a.m.
By 9:30 or 9:45 Sally was on her way to the Rainbow Bridge. I held
her the whole time and told her how much I loved her and how sad I was
to see her go but that it was OK. She passed peacefully and I
cried like a baby. I cry as I type this remembering her and
remembering that morning. Sally had a short little life and she
was dealt a really crappy hand. But, all I can do is hope that I
made her as happy as possible for the short time she was with us.
She was most certainly loved. If love could have saved her life
she would certainly still be here. We miss her very much and will
love her forever. I do look forward to the day when I see her
again when I stop by the Rainbow Bridge to pick up all of my
babies.
Mama loves and misses you very much Sally.... |
