It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that I tell you that Sally has passed on to the Rainbow Bridge.  We had to help her along her way on March 3, 2007.  She was such a sweet baby and she is missed very much.  To see her memorial page please click here.

This little cutie pie is Sally.  Sally is a 12 week old Bassett Hound puppy who came here through 7 Bells Sanctuary.  Her birthday is November 26, 2006.  Sally came from a breeder/kennel here in Missouri.  Sally was born with a heart defect.  This poor baby may not live very long unfortunately.  I do so hate it when a baby has to go to the Rainbow Bridge as a foster child.  And, since we don't know when Sally may pass on and it could be rather sudden I decided to go ahead and adopt her.  If she had been a healthy little puppy I can't promise that I would have been able to let her go anyway!  I love her dearly and hope that she has many happy days ahead of her.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of the folks out there in the Bassett Hound community who have been praying for Sally.  She is a happy little girl and she is loved.  So, I do know that your prayers have helped!  I'd also like to thank those of you who have sent little gifts and cards for Sally.  She and I both appreciate it more than you can know!

Sally also has a page with just pictures of her on it.  There are LOTS more there than there are here.  If you would like to look at the other pictures of Sally it is at http://www.chappysplace.net/sallypics.html

I do hope that Sally will have MANY more entries in her diary adn MANY more pics to add to her picture page!

Also, if you'd like to see my foster page where there is more about how I got here it is at http://www.chappysplace.net/fosters/sally.html

This is me and my pillow, Hoppy.  He is such a nice pillow.  Hoppy is a wire hair dachshund.  Hoppy is a foster child here at Ft. Timmerman.

This is a picture from my "Gotcha Day" party.  Mom signed the Adoption contract on me the day this was taken!  That pretty lady in the picture is my Auntie Marti and the party was at her house.  That's me in the front there.  That's Sugar in the little bed...she's a rescue with 7 Bells Sanctuary.  The little Yorkie in Toots.  She's my fur-sister here at Ft. Timmerman.  The little white poodle is Savannah.  She's a rescue too.  Auntie Marti is a foster mom and Savannah will be living with her until Savannah's fur-ever home comes along.
