I am totally devastated.
I just can't believe that my sweet Justy is gone! She was only 6
years old. Here is what happened. We got up on the morning
of April 25, 2006 and everything seemed to be fine. We did our
usual thing...went outside so all the canine kids could do their
"business". Then we came in and everyone got their
breakfast. I then took my shower and got ready to go to
Mass. I left here at about 7:30 a.m. to go to Mass. I got
back about 8:30 a.m. and I could tell that Justy wasn't feeling too
well. She didn't come running to the door barking. So, I sat
down at my desk and put Justy and Belle on my desk in their little beds
and just hoped that Justy would get to feeling better as the day went
on. That didn't happen. By 9:00 a.m. she was having some
sort of major seizure. I rushed her to the vet here in town.
He kept her and ran some tests and gave her some meds to stop the
seizures. He called here and said that he thought she had
"pancreatitis" (I'm sure I didn't spell that right but it has
to do with the pancreas. He thought I should bring her to the ER
& Specialty clinic. So, about 2:00 p.m. I picked her up and to
the ER clinic we went. They kept her overnight there. They
ran tests and did xrays and then called me at about 9:00 p.m. She
was going into renal failure and congestive heart failure. I told
them to keep her as comfortable as possible during the night and that I
would pick her up first thing the next morning. I picked her up
and brought her to our regular vet so that he could put her to
sleep. April 26, 2006 was certainly the worst day of my life so
far. I still can't believe she's gone and I miss her so very
much! I still cry because she's gone. I am sitting here
crying now.
This page will be filled with
my favorite pics of Justy. She was such a beautiful little girl.
I love you so much Little Justy and I miss you terribly..... |
