It is with GREAT sadness that I tell you that Justy has passed on to the Rainbow Bridge.  I still can't believe that my sweet baby is gone.  I will forever miss her.  There will never be another baby as sweet and special as she was to me.  To visit her memorial page please click here.  I will leave the rest of this page as it was when she passed on.

 

Hi there! My name is Ch. Steppin' Up Just Kid'n. But, you can call me just plain Justy. I came to live here with my new Mom & Dad on November 6, 2001. I used to be what my "new" Mom calls a "show dog". I'm not sure what that means but I know that I used to go to these places that had LOTS of other dogs there. According to my "new" Mom (she's just MY MOM now though) the lady that used to have me said that I won lots of ribbons and stuff at these places. I don't remember though. And, my Mom doesn't know much about that kind of thing. So, now, I am just a loved pet and I LIKE that!!! I wasn't too sure about how to play and all when I came here but I am learning. My birthday is February 10, 1997. So, that means that I just turned SIX!!!! A friend of my Mom and Dad's brought me from Oklahoma (where I used to live) here to Missouri. That friend that brought me here to Missouri is my Aunt Pat. Aunt Pat is an attorney just like Daddy is. And, now, I have LOTS of Aunts on the internet too! I am just happy to be here in Missouri now. I am loved "baby" now and I am a MUCH happier little girl!

Here I am looking rather raggedy!!! Mom gives me bathes every weekend! I made her promise to put some pics up here of me AFTER she grooms me! Some of this hair has just GOT to GO!!! This picture was taken on 12/05/01!

The picture to the left is a newer pic of me. This one was taken April 25, 2002. I was all nice and snug on Mommy and Daddy's bed! I look quite comfy don't I?

OH....Look here! My first award!!!! We just got this today (03/02/02). Auntie Sue and Pandora (one of her feline babies) gave Mom and me this award! It was given to us because I was already an "adult" when Mom and Dad adopted me. PLEASE consider adopted an adult dog instead of a puppy! It is MUCH more difficult to find homes for us adult dogs! I am thankful that I was never in a shelter or homeless but there are LOTS of dogs and cats out there that are not as lucky as me. Please also consider adopting that ADULT baby from a shelter or rescue group! My award is linked to Aunt Sue's site. Go by and visit them and tell them we said hello!

HA! Look at this! Mommy made me a car in Photo Impact! I just love my little car! Mommy said that she will have to make one for Belle now too though cause Belle will get jealous that I have a car and she doesn't! LOL
UPDATE: DANG...Belle does have a car now! Hers is pink though! DANG!

OH...look!  I got this for my birthday this year (2004).  Sampson has a really nice tom friend online named Shamus.  Shamus gave me this for my birthday!  Wasn't that SO nice of him!?

Look at how pretty this is!  A friend of Mom's did sort of an "Advent" calendar thing.  Every day she made gifts for all the ladies on the list that she and Mom are on.  She made this as a gift to Mom one day!  Isn't it cute?
