This is Floyd! Floyd is yet another of our failures! By that I mean that we failed Fostering 101 yet again! Floyd started here as Cochise and also as a foster. Poor Karl just could not seem to remember "Cochise". He was calling him everything from Cisco to Chico! So, I decided to rename him. I have another little tiny Yorkie named Emma. She is named after my maternal grandmother. So, it seemed only fitting that Floyd be named after my maternal grandfather. So, Cochise became Floyd.
Floyd was born at a kennel/breeders. He ended up getting a carpet fiber wrapped around one of his little back legs. You can see how really nasty looking his little leg is in the picture above. We really thought we were going to have to have his leg amputated. But, after lots of prayers and a blessing from Father Pete it seems that his little leg is just fine! He runs and plays and even has hair growing on it now!
Karl has some other pictures of Floyd. As soon as I can get them from his computer to this computer I will add at least a few more here on his page.

You can see in a few of these that his little back leg is JUST FINE! The only "funny" thing is that the hair on it is darker than the hair on his three other legs!
He is a little pistol too! I call him "Floyd the Irritator"! He just pesters all the others here to no end! And, another "good news" note....Floyd weighed just under 2 pounds when he got here back in July. I wondered how his weight was the other day so I decided to weigh him. OMG....HE WEIGHS SEVEN POUNDS NOW!!!! So, not only is he a little pistol...he's also a little piggie!!!!! (grin)
