This little cutie pie is Emma.  I adopted her from a rescue group down around St. Louis, Missouri.  That rescue group is Flawdogs.  You will find a link to their PetFinder site lower on this page.  Anyway, they got a call from their State Inspector.  She told them that she had just had to close down a puppymill for violations and that she had some dogs that she wanted them to take.  The really weird thing is that earlier that same day we had gone to Jeff City to meet up with Sally and Carol of Flawdogs.  I had told Carol then that I needed a new little baby.  See, Toots had just passed on to the Rainbow Bridge and I needed another tiny baby.  Carol said that she would be on the lookout for me.  Then, blam, there was Emma from their State Inspector.  Carol sent me pictures and asked me what I wanted to name her.  I named her Emma after my maternal grandmother.  Emma is just the sweetest little girl!  She is not scared like most of the little breeders from puppymills.  Anyway, I picked her up from Sally and Carol on May 25, 2007 in Jeff City.  As I type this Emma has been here at her new home for only 2 days.  She seems to have settled in really well.  She reminds me very much of Justy because she follows me all around the house the same way Justy did.  Her little tongue hanging out reminds me very much of Belle.  I do think she was meant to be here and be my little girl.

Here is little Emma curled up in my lap asleep.  This was taken on May 26, 2007.

This is a picture of Emma and her new Daddy, Karl.  You can see from this picture how really tiny she is!
