Hello!  My name is Daisy. I have been with my Mom, Dad and my brothers and sisters here since 1997 or so.  I was a stray. I wandered up to my Mom and Dad's office one day. When they saw me they called me to them and I went to them because I just knew that they would love me! They brought me to the vet immediately because they couldn't just bring me home because Maggie was already here and they didn't know if I had something that I could give Maggie. Well, the news was not all good! I was basically healthy except that I had something called heart worms. Whatever that is I knew it wasn't good because it really upset Mom! But, the vet told Mom and Dad that it could be treated and I would be just fine. So, needless to say, I was treated and I am, indeed, just fine! Mom keeps us canine kids on heart worm medication year round now because she doesn't want to take any chances on us getting heart worms! MAN am I glad too! I sure don't want to go through those treatments again! Mom "decreed" my birthday to be April 6, 1997. She does not know exactly what year I was born and we all guessed that it was about April 6 when I wandered up to the office.
